Lake Rascino

Lake Rascino is a karst lake situated in the wonderful area of Cicolano, in the municipal territory of Fiamignano, at an elevation of 1,146 m, at the edge of the homonymous large plateau. Not having tributaries, the basin collects rainwater and snow and only the presence of karst sinkholes allows the outflow. The lake, surrounded by wild and uncontaminated nature, has always represented a popular destination for fishers, and, although from afar it may look like a large pond, it has a maximum depth of about 5 m. and is rich in many fish species.
